主要从事蛛丝蛋白(spidroin)的结构和功能解析及其在生物医学中的应用研究；蛋白质内含子(intein)介导的蛋白质修饰；DNA-蛋白复合物和功能化DNA纳米结构设计与构建及其在药物递送体系中的应用。
