Prof. Makio Naito is acting as a Professor in joining and welding research institute (JWRI) of Osaka University, the Vice President of the society of powder technology, the Director of Hosokawa Micron Corp., and the Guest Professor of Shanghai Jiao Tong University of P. R. China as well. Prof. Makio Naito got his Doctor Degree of Engineering at Nagoya University in 1987. Because of his great contributions in research, Prof. Makio Naito won lots of honors and awards, including Professional Academician Member of “World Academy of Ceramics” (2012); Fellow of the American Ceramic Society (2010); Outstanding Research Award, Information Center of Particle Technology, Japan (2003); Richard M. Fulrath Award, the American Ceramic Society (2002); Award for Outstanding Academic Studies of Powder Technology, the Society of Powder Technology, Japan (1994), et al. So far, Prof. Makio Naito has published 65 books, 264 peer reviewed papers, 244 internationally invited lectures and presentations, 100 review articles, and 51 patents.
