　　Master of Engineering degree from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1976

　　Bachelor of Engineering degree from Niigata University in 1974

　　Research field:

　　He has been engaged in the research of ceramic thin films mainly transparent conducting films such as tin-doped indium oxide (Indium-Tin-Oxide), tin oxide and aluminum- or gallium-doped zinc oxide films deposited by chemical processes such as spray chemical deposition and dip coating. He also investigated sintering of these materials and thermal analysis of film precursory materials.
