　　Brief Introduction：

　　Jacob I. Kleiman，Adjunct Professor, University of Toronto Institute for Aerospace Studies, Toronto, Canada; Organizer and Chair of the International Conference on Protection of Materials from Space Environment.

　　This presentation will provide an overview of instrumentation developed and created by ITL Inc. for simulated testing and performance evaluation of spacecraft materials, structures, assemblies and components in different space and planetary environments and of surface modification processes that were used successfully in various space mission applications.

　　The latest product developments at ITL in the fields of space environment simulation equipment and specialized equipment for characterization and testing of space materials will be presented.

　　The new advanced surface modification processes developed to protect space materials from the harsh space environment and to impair new functional properties for use in LEO and GEO orbits will also be presented and demonstrated.
